Please join me, Wednesday, August 17th at 7pm, for my brand new show, “Made In Americana”… A trip into our musical past. Our history is told not only by the written word but also by the words spoken and songs sung. This oral history is what Carl Sandburg coined “The American Songbag”. This Songbag is a mélange, a history of American people from disparate cultures and countries, coming together here, in the United States. Travel Songs. Cowboy Songs. Songs of praise. Cultural standards and popular songs. These songs continue to weave a singular tapestry. From Noel Coward to John Cougar Mellencamp. Dolly Parton and Chris Stapleton to Aaron Copland, Paul Simon and beyond. With Musical Direction by Brad Simmons, featuring Sean Harkness, Skip Ward and Dave LeBlanc.

My “songbag’ is filled with the memories and love of this country, as viewed and told by one particular American boy.

Will Friedwald (WallStreetJournal) has called Reid, “One of the outstanding singers of our time…”
